“Punch With Power”
When a punch is thrown many Karate Ka’s, Fighters, and Martial Art enthusiast throw punches from the wrong part of the body. The hip area of the human body is a critical center to an effective punch, not the shoulder as many would believe. For example: Placing the left foot forward while raising the right hand, and using a straight punch style while turning the hip area to the left simultaneously 30 degrees is an effective way to put your weight into the intended strike. Furthermore, as you improve with this technique begin to slide your left foot further to the left by even inches gives you more striking power. Good luck with your practice!
