Class of 2008 Pictures

The San Diego Grand Internationals were held at the Sports Arena in May, 2008. Steve's TKD-Jidokwan was represented by 1st Dan Black Belt, David Schornack. The school would like to congratulate him on his success at this most prestigious event. He took 1st and 2nd place in the Men's Heavy Weight Division Continues Sparring events.

Grand Master Steven H. Miller

Parents, Students / Returning Students:

Please be advised that on January 1, 2010 class will resume on Thursdays: The following information is a guideline to the intended class structure.

1) Grand Master Miller will participate and teach in all classes unless otherwise noted the week before.

2) Ms Gomez (2nd Dan) will assist in the organization and teaching of selected classes.

3) The Dojo maintenance, organization, and additional classes will be managed by Ms Gomez.

4) All testing will continue to be directed by Grand Master Miller.

5) Test Fees will remain at $10.00 per test through Blue Belt. Brown Belt and up will be discussed prior to testing.

5) Private Lessons taught by Grand Master Miller will be available beginning September 1, 2008, as noted in the "Ji Do Kwan-Chi" News Letter posted on the website.

6) The web site will be managed by Grand Master Miller.

7) Brown Belt is considered an Instructor's rank. All Brown Belts will participate in the development of teaching others fundamental skills of TKD, Jidokwan in order to enhance their leadership and empathy skills.

The Long Beach Internationals were held August 1-3, 2008 in Long Beach, California. This spectacular event brought out the best of the best competing to be the best. Lancaster / Quartz Hill CA, TKD-Ji Do Kwan-MMA School sent two of it's newest fighters to compete in the continues sparring events. Both Jan Richel Del-Castillo and Cuang Huynh took 2nd place in their weight class fighting intermediate division; however, competing in advanced Black Belt division. Both fighters fought respectively holding their own and bringing the fight to an unexpected level of enthusiasm and entertainment. Although, they are back in college now and are inactive at this time, expectations are that they will be back in the circuit soon again.
