Parents and Students:

All sparring divisions were awarded 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place Olympic size medals. I hope your children enjoyed the evening as much as I did. First and foremost, they are all true champions that displayed Ji Do Kwan spirit and courage duirng thier competition.

A special thanks to all those who helped make this event a success. Although our weather was a little balmy it did not stop the competitiveness within the atmosphere. All competitiors who participated did an outstanding job displaying thier fighting style, technique, and physical endurance. Obviously a platform for training for those who are going to the San Diego Grand Nationals in May of this year. I look forward to preparing the school for this annual event. Again my congradulations to all competitors.

2004 GRANDCHAMPION CRAIG KOCINA

On a day that still rings fresh in the minds of all parents and students of Steve’s TKD Jidokwan Palmdale training facility. Craig Kocina captured the Grand Champion title in the summer of 2004 within the youth division by dazzling all spectors with his unique martial art abilities. No doubt, Kocina’s well disciplined mannerism and attitude implemented ealier in his life by his parents, Louie and Julie Kocina have had a profound impact on his training methods. His kicking, spinning, jumping, and throwing techniques bring excitment and attention to all those who watch him perform. As a memeber of the Jidokwan Youth Black Belt Club, Kocina is setting the standards for others to follow. Keep an eye on this young talent, as I am sure there is more to come. Grandmaster Miller
